Support Our TNR Initiative!

Every cat deserves a chance. 100% of your donation will ensure they get one.

At The Gaske Cat Foundation, we believe that every community cat deserves a life of dignity, health, and safety. However, without intervention, cat populations can quickly grow beyond a community's ability to care for them, leading to suffering, malnutrition, and illness.

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the only proven, humane, and effective method for managing community cat populations.

What is TNR?

TNR is a three-step process that transforms the lives of outdoor cats:

  1. Trap: Cats are humanely trapped in specialized cages.

  2. Neuter: They are brought to a veterinarian to be spayed or neutered, vaccinated against rabies, and "ear-tipped" for easy identification.

  3. Return: Once recovered, the cats are returned to their original outdoor colony, where they can live out their lives without the stress of constant breeding.

Why Your Support Matters

By supporting our TNR campaign, you aren't just "fixing" cats; you are stabilizing neighborhoods and saving lives.

  • Reduces Overpopulation: One unspayed female and her offspring can theoretically produce hundreds of kittens in just a few years. TNR stops the cycle.

  • Improves Health: Neutered cats are less likely to fight, roam, or contract diseases.

  • Saves Shelter Space: Fewer kittens born on the streets means fewer cats entering already overcrowded shelters.

  • Promotes Harmony: TNR reduces common "nuisance" behaviors like spraying and late-night howling, helping cats and humans coexist peacefully.

How Your Donation Helps

Every dollar goes directly toward the tools and medical care needed to keep our program running. Our goal is to successfully TNR 80 cats by June 1st!

Donation Amount Impact:

$10 Protects a Volunteer Trapper with proper personal protective equipment.

$30 Provides essential vaccinations and flea treatment for one cat.

$80 Covers the cost of a spay/neuter surgery for one community cat.

$150 Purchases a new, high-quality humane trap for our volunteers.

$500 Funds an entire "TNR Day," stabilizing a small local colony.

Campaign TNR Resources, Partners, and Recommendations

We are proud to support a diverse range of cat welfare organizations throughout the United States.
Our current TNR campaign is using Mary Esther, Florida, and the broader Okaloosa County area as a spotlight to showcase the critical need for community-led intervention. While these beautiful coastal communities are home to many, they are also a microcosm of a much larger challenge: the millions of community cats living in feral colonies across the nation. The organizations listed below are the finest regional support available to all!

Mack the SNipper

High-volume, high-quality care is the backbone of successful TNR. That’s why we are proud to highlight Mack the SNipper, a specialized mobile veterinary team dedicated to making spay/neuter services accessible to the communities that need them most. Mack the SNipper operates the "Spayship"—a fully-equipped mobile veterinary unit designed specifically for high-volume surgical success.

Why We Love Them:

  • Community Accessibility: By bringing the clinic directly to underserved areas via the Spayship, they remove the barriers of transportation and cost that often prevent effective population control.

  • Affordability: Best in the area for feral cat TNR!
